I am in heaven right now. Is it like Zombie weekend on HBO? First George A. Romero’s Diary of the Dead, and now Doomsday.
“I used to lie in bed in my flat and imagine what would happen if there was a zombie attack.” – Simon Pegg

Now here is an article worth reading.
#97 GLENN BECK ON: BAD ECONOMIC PREDICTIONS
“Ten days before his inauguration, the President’s chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, Christina Rohmer, released a report describing what to expect economically during the first 100 days and beyond. It presented two starkly different scenarios: one good (if the stimulus were to be passed), and one terrifyingly bad (if we did nothing). Amazingly, the report estimated that if the stimulus package were to pass, the unemployment rate would not go above 8% at any time until at least 2014.
“It’s already at 8.5%.
“In fact, while there is an acknowledged level of uncertainty, the projections estimated that the unemployment rate would be lower today if we had done nothing at all. This suggests one of two things: either the administration misjudged the seriousness of our economic problems, or the stimulus plan is actually making things worse. I suspect it’s a little of both.
“Remember, when the President’s budget was released, he was roundly criticized for his never ending deficits, even under his own optimistic scenarios for growth. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office projected deficits that were even uglier. But, if the President and his economic planners were this far off, this soon, how much worse does the future look now?
“The election was supposed to bring ‘change,’ but I was hoping for more than the letter after the President’s name, the positivity of the media coverage, and the hypoallergenic qualities of the White House puppy. President Obama didn’t get us into this situation, but so far he’s doubling down on the same spending philosophy that did. Common sense tells us that new debt is not the cure for old debt. No matter what the slogans say, that won’t change in 100 days or 100 years.”

This movie has inspired me to start reading Jane Austen. Today I’m reading my first Jane novel, Northanger Abbey. I’m excited.

This obsession is my call
Owning body mind and soul
All I live for is to know You and be known
This obsession makes me whole
I give in to its control
It consumes me like a fire within my bones
I am not my own
I have been erased
Like a canvas washed by the stokes of grace
You’re my obsession
You’re all I ever need
I’m Your possession

Dear Kellog’s,
Thank you for bringing to life this ingenious new product, Mini Muffin Tops, because they are in fact the best part of the muffin.
Love, Kim.

(♥) I am scared of clowns, and creeped out by shower drains with movable grates on them. Thank you very much Stephen King.
(♥) I love the song Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra. It is, without a doubt, my own personal pick-me-up song. It never fails to place a smile upon my face. Of course, that usually accompanies me dancing like a dork.
(♥) Painting is my own personal therapy. It calms me and somehow makes everything ok. Mix that with some worship music and I’m good to go.
(♥) My favorite time of day is 10:17 am/pm. No, not because it’s my birthday in date form, but because more times than not when I look at the clock it is either 10:17 am or pm. It just makes me feel content… for whatever reason.
(♥) I love the taste of peppers, but won’t eat them. They feel weird in my mouth.
(♥) Whenever I’m driving, or walking, by a street light and it suddenly turns off as I approach, my subconscious speaks up and I think maybe, just maybe, Dumbledore is around with the deluminator. Wow. I feel dorky for that one.
(♥) When watching DVDs I like to have closed captioning on. Sometimes I find myself reading the captions more than watching the movie. And on the rare occasion I buy a DVD that doesn’t have closed captioning it bothers me.
(♥) I am ambidextrous. I use my right hand to write, but use my left for pretty much everything else. For example, I find holding a fork in my left hand to feel more natural.
(♥) I own between 15 and 20 Bibles. Whenever I would go to a book store, I look at the Bibles and buy ones with interesting covers. The only Bible I use daily though is a leather bound NIV that my Grandmother gave to me.
(♥) The first CD I ever bought was Toni Braxton’s album Secrets. The second was *NSync’s self-titled debut album.
